Responsibilities
Maintain school grounds including turf areas, garden beds, shrubs and trees; ensure spaces are clean, tidy and safe.
Support the development of a healthy growing environment across soft landscaping such as lawns, garden areas and broader turf spaces.
Upkeep hard landscaping features including paved areas, pathways and courts.
Assist the Senior Gardener / Handyperson with minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as irrigation systems, plumbing, carpentry and setup of school events.
Contribute to the overall upkeep and maintenance of outdoor spaces and facilities.
Qualifications and Selection Criteria
Demonstrated good communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain equipment and apply safe working practices.
Demonstrated ability to assist in maintaining both soft and hard landscaped areas.
Demonstrated ability in the practical application and safe use of hand tools.
