We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Tax Policy and Controversy Consultant. This position involves providing expert advice on tax matters, including research, dispute resolution, and client relations.
The ideal candidate will have a law degree, be admitted to practice, and possess strong tax technical skills or the ability to acquire them quickly. They will also be able to develop broad relationships with clients, provide high-level client service, and work effectively under multiple deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist clients in developing and documenting their tax corporate governance processes.
2. Research tax administration matters, participate in dispute resolution processes, and help clients respond to requests for information during ATO reviews and audits.
3. Draft objections, private binding ruling requests, requests for amended assessments, and submissions against penalties.
