Job Title: Bridge and Infrastructure Specialist
Bridge and Infrastructure Specialists play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of people and goods across New South Wales. As part of our team, you will provide critical engineering support to third-party teams, reviewing designs for compliance with industry standards and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review technical content of third-party works applications, development applications, and property leases for compliance with technical standards.
- Undertake engineering calculations and software modelling to assess the rated load of structures and OSOM applications on the network.
- Provide advice and input to third-party works officers for approval briefs and licence drafts related to bridges and structures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil, structural or railway engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as a civil, bridge or structural engineer in the design or construction of civil infrastructure.
