Role Overview
We are seeking to appoint Marine Services Team Members (one or two roles) for work in Whyalla, South Australia.
This is a casual position requiring flexibility to work various hours and days within a 7-day, 24-hour roster, including day, evening, and midnight shifts to meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in day-to-day barge operations and related tasks, including:
* Conducting safe mooring of vessels (tie-ups and let-go);
* Radio communication with tug vessels;
* Computer data entry using Microsoft Excel;
* General maintenance work;
* Barge preparation and cleanup;
* Ensuring a safe work environment by following safety procedures.
About You
Ideal candidates will be driven, eager, team-oriented, and safety-conscious.
Full training will be provided. Previous experience in manual handling or general laboring is advantageous.
Holding a valid driver's license is required for this role.
