Job Description
The Sales and Service Technician will play a pivotal role in servicing and developing industrial product ranges across various industries. This includes Protective Coatings and Composites, Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps, Workshop Repairs, and Safety Solutions.
* Achieve or exceed sales targets
* Complete workshop and on-site application works from start to finish
* Promote all products and services offered
* Calculate and produce quotations in accordance with budgeted gross profit
* Comply with company policies and management direction
* Effective reporting using business systems
* Share information with National Sales Manager and sales staff
* Regular visits to and servicing of the existing client base
* Efficient communication with clients
* Provide technical assistance and advice to clients
* New business development
* Prepare sales presentations
* Follow up on sales leads
* Document all sales-based activities and maintain accurate records
* Ensure OHS/WHS compliance
* Deliver customer training
* Confidence and humility

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Sales or Service Technician role is preferred. The ability to think critically, multitask, and work autonomously is essential. Some knowledge of the industrial coatings industry would be beneficial but not imperative.
