Salary range: $91,138 p.a. pro‐rata (Hourly rate - $46.12) + 13.5% superannuation.
About the role
This role plays a key part in reducing waste and increasing resource recovery across the City of Hobart. It provides specialised advice, delivers community‐focused communications, and supports the implementation of strategic waste initiatives. Working closely with internal teams, external partners, and the community, the role contributes to major outcomes under the City's Waste Management Strategy, City Resilience Unit Plan, and Capital City Strategic Plan.
Role accountabilities include:
* Support and deliver resource recovery projects, including research, feasibility work, and project briefs.
* Provide expert advice and create public communications on waste and recycling, including social media content.
* Identify and implement programs to reduce waste and improve recovery across City operations.
