Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Transport Operations & Logistics Manager to lead our end-to-end logistics operation across the full supply chain. This includes overseeing road haulage, terminal operations, and port interface activities.
Main Responsibilities
* Safety Champion: Ensure a culture of safety through achievement and implementation of safety standards, systems, and initiatives.
* Supply Chain Optimisation: Lead and optimise the full supply chain operation from operator and trucking operations to rail operations, port receival, and ship loading.
* Customer Service: Ensure agreed customer service levels are consistently achieved, including on-time performance and contractual KPIs.
* Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage operational budgets to ensure cost control and revenue maximisation.
* Resource Allocation: Direct and manage the allocation and deployment of resources to meet operational and customer needs.
* Frontline Leadership: Provide strong frontline leadership across the employee lifecycle, including performance, engagement, and capability development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
