Overview

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Deliver patient-centred, recovery-focused, evidence-based nursing care.
- Support service improvement and ongoing professional development to deliver excellent patient care and positive health outcomes.
- Engage in collaboration and consultation with individuals, groups, significant others and the health care team.

About You
- You are passionate and kind with a genuine patient-centred approach.
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical governance related to nursing standards.
- Experience contributing to quality improvement, accreditation, and clinical policy development/implementation.
- Awareness and practice of legislation affecting nursing practice and health care.
- Focus on patient-centred, recovery-focused, evidence-based nursing care and ongoing professional development.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with individuals, groups and the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including computer applications.
- High standards of professional and ethical practice with commitment to safety and integrity.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE WORKING RIGHTS IN AUSTRALIA (sponsorship not available)
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Current driver’s licence
- Immunisation evidence (including COVID-19 vaccination) and serology as required
