What You'll Do
* Provide quality and technical subject matter expertise throughout the product lifecycle.
* Translate build requirements and establish Critical‐to‐Quality characteristics.
* Conduct on‐site vendor audits and assess manufacturing, assembly, and quality practices.
* Perform regular quality control audits and ensure compliance with standards.
* Assess incoming supplies and products for defects and quality assurance.
* Maintain detailed reports on supplier quality and performance.
* Offer technical advice and mentorship to suppliers for process optimization.
* Serve as a liaison between senior management and vendors to resolve quality issues.
* Manage and report on internal and external supplier corrective actions.
* Assist in problem‐solving and Root Cause Analysis.
* Provide training to suppliers and internal teams as needed.
* Support continuous improvement of product development and processes.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or related field or equivalent experience.
* 8+ years of experience in similar roles within a regulated industry.
* Strong abilities in statistical analysis and quality assurance.
* In‐depth knowledge of manufacturing and engineering build processes.
* Familiarity with mechanical and electrical build and special manufacturing processes.
* Solid understanding of quality control standards and adherence to government regulations.
* Solid understanding of 8D/CAPA non‐conformance analysis and related methodologies.
* Ability to provide process efficiency mentorship and improvements.
* Excellent communication and liaison skills.
* Practical understanding of ISO9001 standards.
* Certified Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, ASQ‐Certified Quality Engineer, or Lean Manufacturing Certification.
* Proven experience with supplier auditing, management, and quality engineering.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data systems like MS/PowerBI.
* Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus (e.g., Spanish, Chinese).

Travel Expectations: up to 25%
Pay Range: $63,000 – $117,000 per year
