Project Engineer Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects, working closely with stakeholders and collaborating across teams to achieve project goals. Key Responsibilities:
* Coordination of logistics, operation and management of line marking functions;
* Developing and maintaining client relationships;
* Managing and coordinating supervisors, site engineers and sub-contractors across the line marking discipline;
* Experienced in pricing line marking works;
* Knowledge and experience with line marking specifications and standards;
* Managing budgets and cost forecasts across the function to understand costs to complete;
* Liaising with community, council and service authorities;
* Programming and coordinating line marking works to completion by critical dates to meet planned occupation works;
* Identifying and issuing variations and EOTs to subcontractors' original scope of work and analysis of costs;
* Identifying design and constructability issues, and assist in providing efficient solutions taking into account interest of key stakeholders and delivery team.
This role requires a strong foundation in traffic and transport engineering, preferably within a local government or consultancy environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in Civil or Traffic Engineering, proven experience in traffic planning, transport design, and application of LATM principles. Sound knowledge of Austroads, Transport for NSW guidelines, and NSW Road Rules is essential.
