We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administrative Officer to support the operations of our school.
The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support, working collaboratively with staff to ensure the efficient operation of the school.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing routine administrative tasks as directed by the Principal or Business Manager.
* Handling reception duties, appointments, correspondence, maintaining records, processing mail and email, and managing student transport arrangements.
* Providing administrative support to staff and assisting with school functions and events.
* Communicating with stakeholders, providing information and support empathetically.
About the Role
This is a temporary, part-time position at 0.80 FTE (60 hours per fortnight) until further notice, with extensions not exceeding 12 months.
About Our School
We cater to children from prep to year 6, offering the Australian Curriculum subjects, including English, Maths, History, Geography, Science, and Queensland-specific subjects such as Technology, Arts, Health and Physical Education, and French (LOTE).
We emphasize literacy through reading and spelling programs, and include dance, drama, and a performing arts instrumental music program.
Additional activities include science, music, robotics, participation in local sports, and community events celebrating our cultural diversity and supporting defence force families.
