Responsibilities
Weld and fabricate structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components (MIG, TIG, stick)
Read and interpret technical drawings, weld procedures, and blueprints
Perform fitting, grinding, cutting, drilling, and finishing tasks
Assist with site installation, structural erection, rigging, and welding repairs as required
Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and dimensional tolerances
Maintain tools,, and work area in line with housekeeping standards
Report any defects, discrepancies, or safety issues promptly
Skills and Qualifications
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Welder (Cert III or equivalent)
Proven experience in structural welding and fabrication
Ability to weld in carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and structural steel
Experience working from drawings, templates, and weld procedure specifications
Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards
Strong Structural steel background
