Cochlear has around 3 open positions for Student Engineers to gain hands-on experience in our Systems Engineering team. Under the supervision of an experienced engineer, you will get the chance to plan, design, set up, conduct, interpret, and report on tests to explore, characterise, or verify Cochlear product and system functions. Your key responsibilities will include… Design, set up, and execute tests according to the plan Collect and report on test results Ensure that test equipment is in good condition and calibrated when required Propose improvements to test setups and methods Collaborate with project engineers to interpret test results Contribute to product and system design by analysing test failures and proposing solutions Assist project engineers with project tasks and documents as needed Minimum Requirements: Currently studying Engineering degree (ideally penultimate or last year of study) Available to work minimum 2 days per week Experience in test execution and reporting Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and proactive Good communication and teamwork skills Developmental Value of this role: In addition to growing your technical skills and applying your theoretical knowledge, you will work with people across various disciplines, have direct contact with project teams, and see the impact of your work on our product designs, contributing to our mission of helping people around the world to hear.
