Aged & Disability Support Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team. As a valued member, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our elderly care clients by supporting their independence and wellbeing.
* Provide essential personal care services including getting clients ready for the day, assisting with medication management, mobility support, and therapy goals.
* Offer emotional support and social interaction, facilitating transport to lifestyle activities or appointments and providing respite for family carers.
You will work independently, identifying solutions to daily challenges and knowing when to seek guidance from your manager. Comfortable working in diverse environments and situations is essential.
The successful candidate will possess:
* Certificate III or higher in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
* At least six months' experience in a similar role that involves personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medication assistance
