We are currently seeking a HR Advisor to join our dynamic and collaborative national team. This is a key role in delivering operational support across all areas of Human Resources, including learning and development, administration, and recruitment. Working closely with the HR Manager, the role will assist in the maintenance of the SAP HRIS, payroll as well as recruitment and onboarding activities.
This role offers flexibility and can be structured as full time or part time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update HR systems and processes, including SAP HRIS, and support payroll activities.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
* Support recruitment and onboarding processes, including coordination with hiring managers and candidates.
* Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation in compliance with data protection regulations.
* Provide support and guidance on performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution matters.
* Support training and development programs, including compliance and technical training coordination.
* Contribute to HR reporting and analytics to inform strategic business decisions.
* Ensure HR practices comply with Australian employment legislation and internal company standards.
* Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and organisational effectiveness.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Tertiary qualifications in HR, or equivalent.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with exposure to a broad range of HR functions.
* Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
* Experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably SAP.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of discretion, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
