Job Opportunity: Youth Worker
This position involves working in residential environments, such as Youth Residential Out of Home Care, as well as supporting emergency placements in commercial accommodation.
You will have opportunities to work with leading youth organisations or directly with child safety, building your skills and professional networks.
* Minimum 2 Covid-19 vaccinations
* Minimum 6+ months relevant experience, including complex challenging behaviours
* Hold or be working towards a Cert IV in a relevant field
* Completed Hope & Healing training or be willing to obtain it
* Current First Aid and CPR certificate
* Current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
* Current Working with Children clearance
* An unrestricted Australian drivers license and comprehensively insured vehicle
The ideal candidate would be available to work at least 3 times a week during shifts such as 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and sleepovers/active awakes.
