Administrative Assistant - Mission-Driven Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an integral part of our Religious Education & Spirituality team, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the smooth operation of our dynamic and values-based portfolio.
Job Description:
\
* Provide exceptional executive support to senior leaders, including calendar management and event coordination.
\
* Act as the first point of contact for enquiries that require an excellent working knowledge of the organization and RE&S team.
\
* Build and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to provide executive support.
\
* Prioritize tasks to support multiple events, operations, and projects undertaken by the RE&S team.
\
* Process finance requests and payments, such as invoices and reimbursements.
\
* Exercise discretion, judgment, initiative, and confidentiality at all times.
\
Required Skills and Qualifications:
\
* Strong experience as an Executive or Personal Assistant, with the ability to liaise and coordinate meetings and events with various stakeholders.
\
* High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in file management and office administration.
\
* Excellent ICT skills, with strong competency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Content Manager, SharePoint, Outlook diary management).
\
* Interpersonal skills, with the capacity to establish and maintain positive working relationships within a team environment and with stakeholders across levels.
\
* Information management, with consistent adherence to maintaining high-level confidentiality and handling sensitive data.
\
* Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and personal commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church through Catholic schools.
\
* Business Administration Diploma or Certificate IV or equivalent.
\
* Current paid NSW Working with Children Check number.
\
* National Criminal History check clearance.
\
* Category A – Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead (willingness to work towards).
