Job Details
This is a full-time role that involves working a standard 38 hour week. The fixed term contract expires on 30th June 2027.
* Location: Warrnambool Campus (also provides services in Portland, Hamilton, and Colac regions)
* Salary: $91,124 per annum, plus superannuation and annual allowance
About the Role
The Careers Practitioner Leader is the primary authority in providing independent guidance to help job seekers understand study options, plan their careers, gain recognition for existing skills, learn about in-demand jobs, and find employment while accessing additional support services.
* Key Responsibilities:
* - Developing key partnerships with other providers to enhance service delivery and connectivity into the workplace
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will require:
* Mandatory Requirements:
* A Diploma or higher-level qualification in Career Development or extensive experience supporting clients with career needs (preferably in an educational setting)
* Certificate IV in Career Development (or willingness to obtain the qualification)
* Experience in performing and interpreting career profiling tools
* A current Driver's Licence
* Victorian Working with Children clearance and a satisfactory Police Check
* Desirable Requirements:
* Extensive experience supporting clients with career needs (preferably in an educational setting)
* Experience in the Vocational Education & Training industry
