About Us
At The Surgery at Jerra, our friendly, compassionate, and efficient reception team plays a vital role in delivering excellent care to our community in Jerrabomberra. We are a busy, well-established general practice with:
* 8 GPs,
* A paediatrician,
* A dedicated nursing team, and
* A supportive reception team.
Together, we are committed to providing outstanding patient care and professional support to our clinical team.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our reception team. You will report directly to the Reception Manager and work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth patient journey.
While previous medical reception experience is an advantage, it is not essential—what matters most is strong customer service skills, professionalism, and a positive, can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering excellent patient service at every stage of the patient journey
* Supporting practice culture and teamwork
* Managing administrative and billing duties accurately
* Assisting with quality improvement activities
* Using a range of software, including Microsoft Suite, HotDoc, Cubiko, Practice Hub, and Best Practice

Hours
The Surgery at Jerra is open Monday to Saturday, including Thursday evenings.

* Casual position available
* Permanent role may be offered to the right candidate
