Our client, **CONFETA PTY LTD,** is looking to employ **a Print Finisher** with an experienced, reliable, and self-motivated person. Confeta is a leading manufacturer and supplier of paper packaging for the bakery and food service industry. They have the latest machinery for offset or flexographic printing, slitting, die-cutting, and sheeting facilities to fulfill customer requirements.
**You will be required to do the following duties**:
- Setting, adjusting, and monitoring substrate-feed mechanisms, delivery mechanisms, inking systems, and other printing machine functions
- Selecting, Mixing, and matching ink and solvents to standard and regulating paper and ink supply during print runs
- Monitoring, evaluating, and determining press operations manually and by computer to check print quality standards against proofs and detect malfunctions
- Producing a variety of printed products using relief, lithographic, flexographic, and gravure printing presses and in-line finishing systems
- Preparing plates, blankets, and impression cylinders on small offset lithographic printing presses
- Embellishing printed products automatically and manually by binding full, half and limp-bound books and repairing bindings.
- Loading paper into feeding mechanisms
- Operating paper guillotines for pre
- and post-press paper cutting, trimming, and programming electronically operated units.
- Monitoring machine operations and quality of printing
- Undertaking maintenance, adjustment, repair, and cleaning of machines
- Producing and managing digital print images and transferring and outputting images
**To be considered for this role, you should**:
- Be precise and meticulous.
- Be flexible enough to switch tasks and adapt to current techniques.
- Trade qualifications are an advantage.
- Have at least 2 years of work experience in a relevant field
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Very good communication skills.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
