Position Information
Cherrybrook Technology High School (CTHS) is a large, comprehensive, coeducational high school founded in 1992. CTHS has an enrolment of 2102 students, with 74% from non-English speaking backgrounds. The school features a highly motivated team of teachers, administrative staff, and support personnel, alongside engaged students and parents, all committed to achieving strong academic outcomes within a technologically innovative and nurturing environment. Every Cherrybrook student is encouraged to uphold the pillars of respect, responsibility, and engagement to foster a positive and inclusive school community. Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Science in Years 7-10 and Stage 6 Physics and Chemistry.
Proven ability to integrate technology into effective classroom practice.
Demonstrated capacity to develop and deliver effective, engaging, differentiated teaching programs in times of curriculum change in science.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to contribute to faculty and whole school programs and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
