Responsibilities
* In the absence of a Senior Technician, responsible for assisting the base supervisor in job allocation where work has not been allocated for the following day.
* Responsible for assisting all fellow employees in a supportive manner as an integral part of working as a team.
* Responsible to complete and maintain a daily diary.
* Responsible to maintain the cleanliness/tidiness in the immediate area of your work, both in the workshop and on site.
* Responsible to promote and market Furmanite services, products and business solutions.
* Responsible to comply with the Quality System for the supply of services and products to our clients in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000.
* Responsible to comply with Furmanite company policies and procedures, as varied from time to time.
Requirements
* With Fitter & Turner, or Fitter Machinist or other relevant skill
* Trade certificate is highly preferable
* Must hold a valid Australian Driver’s License.
* Must hold a Construction Card
* Ability to work Onshore, offshore and on remote site.
* Ability to work shift work
* Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Good written and verbal communication in the English language
* Computer literacy an advantage.
