Operations Manager – Healthy Start
The position is responsible for the operational management of the Healthy Start services, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services while adhering to quality and safety standards. The position oversees the operational aspects of the Healthy Start services including staff management, operational planning and day to day resource allocation.
The position works closely with the EM Child & Family Service to plan, organise, coordinate, and monitor the operational and line management aspects of the Healthy Start services.
There is also a strong emphasis on collaboration, coaching and engaging with the teams and evaluation against key performance targets.
Salary up to $154,980 gross per annum plus super (dependent on qualifications and years of experience)

To be successful you will need:
· Currently registered with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife or Allied Health professional.
· Demonstrated experience in operational management, minimum 2 years' experience line management required.
· Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to develop a collaborative team approach in a multidisciplinary team environment.
· Demonstrated understanding of the ACCHO model of Aboriginal community-controlled comprehensive primary health care, rooted in the core values of cultural continuity, holistic wellbeing and community self-determination
· Ability to communicate and develop good working relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families within the Broken Hill Aboriginal community.
· Recognised credentials in a preceptorship role or ability to complete a certified Preceptoriship course within the first six months of employment.
· Ability to work in a way that fosters mutual respect in a cross cultural environment.
· Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the principles of primary health care and how they relate to child health and development in relation to Aboriginal children, women and families.
· Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
· Computing skills relevant to the position and competent in the use of information and communication technology including Microsoft Word, email and internet applications and client databases.
