Project Engineer (Mechanical) (38 hours per week – FULL TIME) Location: Seven hills NSW 2147 Infinite Baroque Pty Ltd, trading as 80/20 Australia, is Australia’s leading supplier of modular T-slot aluminium extrusion systems. We deliver custom-engineered framing solutions that serve industries ranging from automation and manufacturing to retail and architecture. As we expand our engineering team, we are seeking a technically strong and hands-on Project Engineer (Mechanical) to help bring our modular designs to life. If you're looking to join a progressive company and work on cutting-edge mechanical applications, this is your opportunity. Annual salary: $80,000 to $100,000 Plus Super Duties and Responsibilities:

* Design and develop custom mechanical framing solutions using 80/20 aluminium profiles.
* Interpret technical briefs and engineering requirements from clients and internal teams.
* Create accurate CAD drawings, BOMs, and production documentation.
* Work closely with manufacturing and installation teams to ensure successful delivery.
* Managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services
* Provide expert technical support to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage multiple concurrent engineering projects from concept through to completion.
* Maintaining accurate project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
* Maintain strong attention to detail while meeting budget and timeline targets.
* Ensure compliance with relevant mechanical engineering and safety standards in Australia.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 3 years of industry experience in a project engineering or mechanical design role.
* Strong CAD software skills in Glovius is essential.
* Proven experience managing end-to-end technical projects.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
* Experience with modular systems or aluminium extrusion is highly desirable.
