With their market leading platform and pipeline of future projects, NORDEX look to establish their place as leaders in Australia's drive towards a sustainable future.About the RoleReporting directly to the Lead Technician, you will be part of the core team of service technicians who will ensure that operations and maintenance work is executed safely, to a high standard and with minimal downtime. The Service Technician's responsibilities are commissioning, fault clearance as well as maintenance of the wind turbines. The roles are based on site full time at the Mortlake Windfarm in Southwest Victoria.ResponsibilitiesAnalyse defects with phone-contact to service coordinatorAutonomous simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and fault-findingCarry out complex repair processes in collaboration with the Lead TechnicianWith subcontractors, carry out planned maintenance / inspection activities of turbines for compliance with technical specifications and regulationsCollecting data and performing testsFill in reports and checklists in order to completely inform Local Operation ManagerInform customer in case of works on the turbineCarry out repair or exchange of main componentsCheck inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on siteStandard monitoring of booked service reports and steering of service process to book expenses correctlyGuarantee that tasks are realized with high quality and on timeRealization of tasks in the most economical wayResponsible for material, tools and propertyCarry out tasks in accordance with manuals and regulations; andKeep all H&S related instructions and guidelines and work safety for material and personnel.Skills & ExperienceTrade qualifications in Mechanical disciplinesExperience in hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical environmentsAble to pass fit-to-work medicals, climb towers and work at heightsGood English language skills (read, write and speak fluently)Teamwork, collaboration and willingness to take over responsibility for tasksAbility to solve problems strategically and analyticallyComputer literate, able to use MS Office, SAP and in-house database and workload management systemsReadiness for training an developmentBenefitsGlobal Leader in Wind turbine manufacturingLong term career opportunities with training and developmentMarket leading compensation frameworkPermanent positionHow to applyIf you are interested, please apply now with your updated CV.For further information please contact Harriet on
