As a maritime lecturer, your primary role is to teach and facilitate learning in innovative ways.
About the position
This exciting opportunity is for an individual who can deliver high-quality teaching and training services to students in the maritime industry.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging curriculum, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to improve their skills and knowledge.
Required qualifications and experience
To be successful in this role, you will have a Marine engine driver Grade 1 near coastal (MED1) or Higher Maritime Engineering Qualification (or equivalent).
You should also have at least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position with an ability to facilitate and encourage learning.
In addition, it is preferred that you hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher recognised teaching qualification) or can demonstrate progression towards the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
