What You'll Be Doing
The Clinical Trials Data Officer will be responsible for supporting clinical trials conducted at SCHN, through the provision of direct support and advice in relation to data management systems. The Clinical Trials Data Officer will act as a support person for SCHN personnel in relation to the use of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems (including, but not limited to, REDCap), the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS), and the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
The primary purpose of this role is to contribute actively to the provision of high-quality research activities at the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN).
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience with CTMS and other clinical research systems in a clinical research environment, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrates ability to interpret study protocols to guide data management workflows, CTMS builds and use of other clinical data systems to support clinical trials.
- Demonstrates ability to exercise autonomy and initiative in relation to day-to-day problem solving, communication and decision-making including project, time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise, have attention to detail, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a highly paced environment.
