Are you an experienced post-production manager who is looking for a new position in the industry that builds on your experience and provides a Canberra based, permanent position, 40 hours per week, offering flexible working conditions?

As a post-production professional and team leader you are expected to oversee all post-production activity at WildBear with a particular direct operational focus on the company's Canberra based post-production facilities. You will work to ensure WildBear post-production activity creates high quality visual products that are made fit for purpose and are delivered on schedule. You will also play an important role in the greenlight and pre-production process sharing your high level post-production expertise and problem solving skills.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- At least 5 years experience in a similar role
- Expert level understanding of Production and Post Production workflows
- Demonstrable team leader skills and experience

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for overseeing the post-production team members at Wildbear, across Edit, Online, Audio and Grading departments.
- Responsible for the process of new edit team and post-production hires, and performance management in post-production teams. Advise on the hiring of post-production staff in other offices as required.
- Work with team leaders to ensure six monthly performance reviews of Canberra based post-production staff, and implement regular training and skills assessment.
- Work with Head Production to manage post-production staffing budgets and capacity forecasting and improvements to the capability of WildBear post-production activity.
- Provide leadership and mentoring for junior staff in the post-production department and the company generally.
- Provide leadership and support and technical advice for the development and pre-production phase of projects as required.
- Research & develop and oversee maintenance and operation of complex equipment relating to post-production, in collaboration with the WildBear ICT Manager.

**Operational Responsibilities**
- Control and operate audio visual post-production and ICT equipment.
- Maintain consistent working standards and documentation of projects using the templates and project servers as provided.
- Ensure that programs are of a high technical standard.
- Provide technical guidance to other employees.
- Ensure that the post-production teams have the necessary training and resources to allow quality control on project deliverables.
