We have been exclusively engaged by our client, a leading financial services company, to find an experienced Investment Operations Manager to join their team. As the Investment Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all investment operations activities, ensuring they are conducted efficiently and effectively.
This contract has arisen due to some internal restructure and is for a fixed term of 6-months.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage investment operations activities, including trade settlement, corporate actions management, fee calculations, FUM verification, cashflow management/execution, checks, and reconciliations.
- Ensure that all activities are documented and noted by the Investment Committee.
- Establish and maintain controls and checks/balances to minimize errors.
- Ensure compliance rules in enabled technology are activated to support activities.
- Collaborate with the FSG Group Compliance Manager to test and monitor controls and report to the Investment Committee and Group Risk & Compliance Committee.
- Support the project to document and organize all investment operations activities undertaken across Fund Ops and by external third parties.
- Improve deficient processes and implement improvements.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in investment operations, either in a fund or custodial environment.
- Excellent knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for financial services companies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter and able to thrive in a changing environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
