Personal Support Assistant
Supporting individuals in their homes with personalized care is at the heart of our role. Our team provides assistance with daily living tasks, maintaining dignity and independence for consumers.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Providing Personalized Care: Tailor support to meet each consumer's unique needs.
* Monitoring Consumer Conditions: Observe and report on any changes in consumer conditions.
* Maintaining Communication & Coordination: Ensure open communication with our team members and health professionals.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of consumer interactions.
Requirements
* Skills & Experience: Previous experience in personal care, household duties, and working within aged care services is highly valued.
* Knowledge: Understanding of infection control principles, dementia care, and Work Health & Safety regulations.
* Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a flexible team.
* Competence: Ability to work autonomously, ensuring duties are performed according to State and legislative frameworks.
* Certificate III in Home, Community Care, Aged Care or Individual Support (desirable)
* Police Check
* Pre-employment medical
* Current Queensland Driver's License
* A safe and reliable vehicle
