Senior Adobe Developer
* Location: Canberra OR Ballarat
* Contract Duration: 36 months
* Must have an active AGSVA NV1 or NV2 Clearance.
Must be based in Canberra or Melbourne with the ability to work full-time in Ballarat About our client: Our client is a leading professional services and consulting firm, delivering strategy, technology, systems integration, and operations support across industries including Government, Financial Services, and Utilities. About the role: A Senior Adobe Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced solutions within the Adobe ecosystem, primarily Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom AEM solutions, including web parts, workflows, forms, and component libraries
* Implement and maintain portals, sites, and document management systems, ensuring usability, performance, and security
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
* Troubleshoot, test, and debug AEM applications and integrations with other enterprise systems
* Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for junior developers
* Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending best practices, application enhancements, and process optimizations
* Manage AEM administration tasks, including system configuration, upgrades, backups, and user support
* Stay updated with the latest AEM features, Adobe technologies, and industry best practices
Required Skills and Expertise
* Strong understanding of web development technologies
* Experience with Java, JCR, OSGi, Sling, and CRXDE
* Experience with RESTful services and APIs
* Experience with Lotus Notes
* Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Qualifications and Experience
* 10 years+ SharePoint development and administration experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Relevant Adobe certifications
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality AEM solutions and managing complex projects
