Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to provide clinical care to patients in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
* Conduct patient assessments and take vital signs and weight.
* Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments, including phlebotomy, injections, suturing, and other typical office procedures.
* Administer medications as prescribed by the provider and adhere to established policies.
* Provide training and instruction to assigned personnel as needed.
* Deliver basic patient care as ordered.
* Communicate test results to patients in a timely manner.
* Ensure patient comfort and privacy through effective communication.
* Document all interventions, patient responses, and medication administration in the medical record.
* Promote health and wellness by providing educational materials and communicating provider advice.
* Triage patient phone calls and prioritize appointments based on urgency.
Requirements
Must be licensed as an LPN in Tennessee and hold current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
