Your role within Housing and Homelessness Services will support the department to provide high level advice to the Regional Director on strategic, operational and corporate governance issues, ensuring quality, professional services to senior management and the Office of the Deputy Director General. Frontline Services, Housing and Homelessness Services provides a range of services, products and referrals to offer housing solutions for diverse customer groups.
You will work as part of a team providing services which support the overall functioning and delivery of services for the regional office. You will undertake projects to improve service delivery and contributes and shares expertise with colleagues on a wide range of issues.
What you will be doing:
• Lead and contribute to projects relating to development and implementation of initiatives within the regional office and wider region.
• Undertake accurate research and provide detailed analysis and provide high quality advice to the Regional Director and other key stakeholders on diverse topics as required.
• Coordinate, prepare or review briefings, reports, and correspondence on complex issues, often within strict timeframes.
• Liaise and work collaboratively with housing service centres, contract management, other areas of the department and external agencies to support the development and management of regional initiatives and improvements.
• Lead and contribute to strong collaborative engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the timely preparation and presentation of high-quality documents and communication materials.
• Lead and ensure you establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.
