Are you a motivated and compassionate Allied Health Assistant looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently seeking a dedicated Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant to join our supportive and multidisciplinary team. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you'll work both independently and under the guidance of Allied Health Professionals to deliver high-quality therapy support services across a variety of settings including inpatient units, subacute services, community-based programs, and clients' homes.
As a key member of our allied health team, you will support both inpatient and community-based clients by facilitating group therapy sessions, delivering exercise programs prescribed by physiotherapists, and assisting with individual therapy as directed by Allied Health Professionals. You'll also be involved in completing home visits, providing aids and equipment, and managing therapy spaces and resources. In addition, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of our services through general administrative tasks such as appointment bookings, data entry, and equipment tracking.

Our preferred candidate will have:
* Allied Health Assistant Certificate IV or equivalent qualification.
* Extensive experience in provision of therapy support services
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence
* Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:
* Experience in independently providing therapy programs with support from an Allied Health Professional
* Experience working in community settings, and in independently delivering therapy programs.
* High level of competency in using computer programs
IMPORTANT:Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
