Senior Support Worker Position
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide high-quality care and support to seniors in their homes.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting while maintaining client dignity and comfort
* Providing mobility support by assisting clients with walking, transfers, and using equipment safely
* Performing household tasks like cleaning and laundry to ensure a safe and healthy environment
* Engaging clients in social activities, conversations, and hobbies to combat loneliness and isolation
* Offering emotional support and empathy to alleviate anxiety and promote mental well-being
* Maintaining accurate records of client care, including observations and changes in condition
Requirements:
* Compassionate and patient attitude with a genuine commitment to senior care
* Effective communication skills to interact with clients, families, and colleagues
* Reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for confidentiality
* Physical capability to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
* Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related fields is advantageous
* First aid and CPR certification required
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
