We work with children who struggle to hit their milestones to enable children to succeed and become independent and confident in all that they do. We enable families to support their children to be the best they can be. What separates Making Milestones from other clinics is that we are child centric, have flexible working arrangements, and have support to allow you to focus on your clients, while we take care of the rest. Most importantly we have a forever-growing multidisciplinary team who strongly value social work.

Due to continued growth, Making Milestones are now looking to expand their social work team and are seeking individuals who are passionate about working with children and their families to improve their quality of life and wellbeing. We have two office locations at Eyre in the Northern Suburbs and Welland in the West and we welcome interest for both sites.

Our practice is continually growing, and we aim to provide a best fit interventions for children and adolescents and their families with a broad range of developmental and psychosocial needs. Hence this position will be perfect for a professional who is passionate about their social work practice as well as about working within a multidisciplinary team to achieve best outcomes for children and their families.

To make this role your own you will need:


• To be child focused


• To be an accredited Mental Health Social Worker


• To have a keen interest in the mental health of children, adolescents and their families.


• To be passionate about working within a paediatric team-based environment


• To have strong verbal and written communication skills


• To be eligible for registration with Medicare


• To hold or looking to attain a Working with Children Check – DHS clearance


• Knowledge of ASD and related conditions and NDIS an advantage

• Regular clinical supervision as required
