 
        
        **As our Human Resources Officer, you will:
- Provide contemporary, best practice human resources support to the business unit in the following areas:
- HR advisory and consultancy services based on the industrial framework including policy and practices. 
- Workforce information, analysis and reporting. 
- Research, analyse and interpret human resources information to provide qualified and appropriate advice and recommendations (written and verbal). 
- Provide advice and guidance to leaders regarding human resource issues that balances employee and organisational interests. 
- Prepare sensitive correspondence (including but not limited to letters, reports, submissions, guidelines, briefs) on a range of HR issues for internal and externalstakeholders. 
- Lead and/or contribute to the development and implementation of the human resource strategic plan and action plan. 
- Contribute to the evaluation of human resources services and initiatives to ensure these are directed to supporting business outcomes. 
- Maintain a high-level knowledge of contemporary human resource management practices to ensure currency of knowledge and skills and service outcomes for clients. 
- Foster and role-model a work environment that values performance, improvement, innovation and outcomes and knowledge sharing within the business unit. 
- Actively participate in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture where team members enjoy coming to work, and ethical practices, workplace safety, equity, and diversity are valued.
