Your impact, with us As our highly valued Cardiac Physiologist, you’ll use your skills and expertise to provide quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Based in Bundaberg, you’ll be providing the day to day, best practice delivery of ECG-related testing procedures for Advara Heartcare patients. Helping to improve people’s health and lives and shaping our organisation’s future. You’ll make a meaningful impact by:
Managing procedures include the performance of ECG’s, analysis and interpretation of ECG’s, blood pressure, Holter monitor and event monitor application and analysis. As well as assisting Cardiologists with Exercise Stress Tests and Exercise Stress Echocardiograms.
Working across several busy Cardiology practices across multiple locations, and you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care.
You will be required to work closely with other Cardiac Physiologists, Specialist Cardiac Physiologists, Cardiologists, and all practice staff to ensure best practice and optimise patient outcomes.
Collaborate with Cardiologists and staff to uphold quality standards, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have:
Thorough understanding of the principles of ECG analysis and interpretation
Demonstrated ability and willingness to provide guidance and theoretical education to less experienced Cardiac Physiologists.
An ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team
An ability to carefully plan, organise and prioritise tasks.
An understanding of customer service principles with an ability to respond sensitively to patient needs.
The ability to work under pressure and respond to fluctuating workflow and internal / external demands.
The ability to follow direction; accept feedback; learn new tasks and adapt to change.
Exceptional communication skills
Australian Driver’s License and ability to work across several locations across Wide Bay.
