Dedicated 12 month Urology registrar post with no sub-specialty cross-over. Busy, accredited, tertiary referral Urology unit. Well established and supported training programme for registrars.
Role
* Daily management of the Surgical Unit's patients and clinical activities within the limits specified with your clinical privileges.
* Supervise Resident Medical Officers about clinical procedures and management.
* Participate in unit meetings, clinical trials and research, and quality assurance activities.
Details of Appointment
* Full‐time day‐worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight.
* Commencing 1 February 2027 – 6 February 2028 (12‐month fixed term) with 10 hours of paid, protected training time per fortnight (pro rata).
* Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
* Selection process may be used to fill subsequent full‐time, part‐time or casual vacancies for 12 months.
Salary
* Medical Practitioner Level 5‐11: $138,978 – $194,675 per annum (pro rata). 12 % superannuation and salary packaging.
* Salary packaging options: living expenses up to $9,010; meals and entertainment up to $2,650 per year.
* Continuing Professional Development Allowance: $3,183 per annum (pro rata).
* Travel and relocation assistance: up to $15,000 for overseas applicants, up to $10,000 for interstate applicants.

Eligibility
* General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
