This is an exciting opportunity for a self-sufficient and motivated mechanical engineer to take on a technical leadership role in a Perth-based team.
Key Responsibilities:
* As a key technical leader, the ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional value to clients through the provision of high-quality solutions that align with project objectives and requirements.
* The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and advice to a growing team of mechanical engineers and contribute to the wider organization.
* Executive Mechanical Engineering tasks across a range of projects including materials handling, conveying, material transfer, and advanced DEM modeling.
* Ensure design tasks, activities, and deliverables are formatted, progressed, checked, reviewed, and completed in accordance with company and project requirements, procedures, and systems.
* Collaborate with other disciplines and designers to develop designs for a wide range of plant and infrastructure.
* Participate in the complete engineering process from concept development through to product manufacturing and commissioning.

Requirements and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering and 6+ years of Multidisciplinary Engineering experience in the mining and resources sector.
* Strong design experience with the capability to produce calculations and design documentation, as well as having practical experience working in construction, commissioning, and/or operations in the bulk materials and minerals processing industries.
* Experience across varied types of commodities from nickel through to iron ore.
* Good presentation and communication skills at all levels.
* Demonstrated understanding of industry safety and environmental standards.
