Job Description
* Permanent, Part-time (3 days per week - flexible on days)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality vocational education and training to students pursuing a career in health. This role will provide the delivery & marking of our Health and Community Service programs to allocated students including Schools across Queensland and the Deadly and Traineeships Programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver vocational education and training in health-related subjects at Certificates II and III level
* Assess student learning and progress, providing feedback, support, and completing final signoffs to ensure successful course completion
* Provide guidance and mentorship to students, supporting their career development and transition into their chosen employment
* Engage with industry and workplaces, including trainee visits and collaboration to support successful employment outcomes and career goals
* Complete administrative and compliance tasks, including assessment marking and maintaining accurate training records in Canvas
* Represent and support the organisation, through career expos, holiday programs, trainer up-skilling, and resource review
* Work 3 days per week (days are flexible and can be agreed upon)
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification.
* At least 3 years of experience in delivering vocational education and training in health-related subjects - Desirable
* Strong knowledge of industry standards and accreditation requirements - Desirable
* Candidates must hold a valid Working With Children Check (employee) or be willing to obtain - Required
* Candidates must undergo an Australian Federal Police Check - Required
