Join Our Team at Omnia Community Health
From 1 January 2026, Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health and Nexus Primary Health have merged to form a new, unified not-for-profit community health organisation, Omnia Community Health. This decision followed an extensive exploration process that confirmed the merger will improve access to safe, high-quality, and sustainable health and community services across the Hume, Macedon Ranges, Mitchell, Murrindindi and Strathbogie local government areas. The new organisation will bring together the deep community connections, shared values and specialist expertise of both entities. Services will span general practice, allied health, disability support, mental health, early childhood, family services, aged care and community wellbeing, delivered from sites in Broadford, Kinglake, Kyneton, Romsey, Seymour, Sunbury and Wallan, with additional outreach into surrounding communities.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Client Service Representative to join our supportive and friendly Client Services team, in a full time capacity. This role is based in Kinglake with travel to Broadford, Wallan and Seymour, with staff rotating between sites within rostered opening hours.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, patients, staff and visitors, providing high‑quality reception, call centre and administrative support. You will play an important role in ensuring a positive experience for everyone accessing Omnia Community Health services, while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism at all times. Team members may also be asked to support colleagues by providing coverage during planned or unplanned leave.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a warm, professional, and welcoming experience for all clients
* Accurately respond to client enquiries and provide information on services and processes
* Manage front-of-house reception duties, including appointments and client flow
* Process client payments and accurately record financial transactions in accordance with organisational procedures
* Maintain high customer service standards aligned with organisational values
* Support administrative tasks and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
* Liaise effectively with clinical and service delivery staff
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Certificate III or higher in Business or Administration or relatable experience
* Demonstrated experience in a busy reception or front-of-house role, preferably within a medical reception or GP clinic environment
* Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and empathetically with a diverse client base
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
* Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team while also using initiative
* Confidence using computer systems and the ability to quickly learn new technologies
* Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
* Current first aid and CPR certificate
* A current driver’s licence and vehicle and be able to travel between Omnia sites when required
* Available to work weekdays between 8.00am – 6.30pm, with very occasional weekend work as required
The successful candidate will be required to undertake and maintain a National Criminal History Check, NDIS Safety Screening check, Working with Children Check and hold valid Australian working rights.
