What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of spend categories and procurement initiatives that support both operational and strategic goals. You'll be responsible for leading end-to-end procurement processes, driving cost and risk reduction through negotiations, and building strong, collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Leading high-value contract negotiations to secure optimal commercial outcomes and long-term supplier partnerships.
* Managing end-to-end procurement activities, including strategy development, tenders, negotiations, contract execution, and lifecycle management.
* Developing and implementing procurement strategies that deliver measurable value through cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier consolidation.
* Partnering with internal stakeholders to influence decisions and ensure procurement supports business objectives.
* Building and managing strategic supplier relationships to drive performance, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Providing commercial insights by analysing spend, pricing trends, and procurement budgets to support informed decision-making.
* Championing best practice procurement processes, governance, and supplier engagement, embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
* Maintaining accurate procurement systems and documentation, including SAP data, contract registers, and compliance records.
* Contributing to innovation and business growth by providing procurement input for new product development, site reviews, and group-wide initiatives.
What you'll bring to the role:
We're seeking a proactive, results-oriented procurement professional with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to influence at all levels of the business. In this role, you'll act as the key connection between our internal teams and external suppliers, helping to drive value, manage risk, and support smarter commercial decisions across the business. You'll also need:
* A tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, or Procurement.
* 5+ years' experience in a procurement specialist role, with strong expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
* Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
* Experience managing diverse spend categories.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver commercial outcomes, cost savings, and value-add initiatives.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with experience managing complex supplier relationships.
* Commercially minded with a practical approach - someone who can "get in and get things done".
* Proficiency in procurement systems (SAP preferred), data analysis, and reporting.
