Introduction
Indie School Logan is hiring teacher to commence in a full-time position from January 2026.
We want teachers with a passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of young learners.
Whether you are newly graduated or are experienced, primary or secondary trained, if your practice is founded on unconditional positive regard and the belief that young people can re-engage with learning and experience success through a strengths-based approach to education then this role may be for you
As an independent special assistance school with a growing national network of campuses, Indie School aims to reengage students with learning, improve their literacy and numeracy skills and help them to find their future pathway, whether it be returning to a mainstream school, engaging in post-secondary study, or joining the workforce.
Indie School provides young people with the opportunity to learn in a supportive environment using the principles of adult education: agency, independence, mutual respect and accountability. Small classes, individual plans, expertly created units of work, and specialised staff, assist our students to use their strengths to develop understanding and skills in their areas of challenge.
At Indie School, we believe that education is not only about imparting knowledge, but also about empowering students to become confident, independent thinkers and problem solvers. We are looking for teachers who can bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to student-centred learning to our team.
If you would like to join a dynamic community of educators seeking to change the lives of young people lesson by lesson, we encourage you to apply for a position with us.
