About the Role As a Infrastructure and Networks specialist, you'll be the primary owner of outsourced IT infrastructure and networking services, playing a key role in ensuring availability, reliability, and alignment to strategy. You’ll guide vendors, govern contracts, and partner closely with internal stakeholders to uplift service maturity, with a strong emphasis on ITIL v4 practices. This role combines business-as-usual responsibilities with opportunities to contribute to design and delivery, without a path into enterprise architecture. Key Responsibilities Manage outsourced IT infrastructure and network services across LAN/WAN and cloud. Govern vendor contracts, performance metrics, and service levels in line with required frameworks Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of infrastructure aligned to business and cloud strategy. Ensure structured change governance, including business cases, risk assessments and formal documentation. Collaborate across Procurement, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber, and Business Systems teams. About You: Minimum 5yrs experience managing IT service providers in multi-vendor environments. Proven background in infrastructure and networking, including cloud (Azure preferred). Strong understanding of ITIL v4 frameworks and change governance. Familiarity with structured procurement processes, panels, and RFX activities. Confident working across technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive outcomes. Desired: Microsoft Azure certification (e.g. AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) ITIL Foundation certification (version 3 or above) Project delivery certification (Agile or similar)
