We're seeking a Chef Manager for our Lockleys corporate site, ideally with commercial catering experience and strong people management skills, ready for the next career step.
The Position
* Oversee all aspects of the culinary operations, including menu planning, preparation, and presentation, working independently.
* Implement strategies to increase catering volumes and optimize pricing for maximum profitability.
* Manage food stock, ordering, and inventory to minimize waste and control costs.
* Ensure high standards of food hygiene and compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Monitor and control kitchen budgets, preparing regular financial and operational reports.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
The Person
* Proven experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar culinary role, with the ability to work autonomously.
* Strong background in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle all kitchen operations independently.
* Ability to implement cost-control strategies while maintaining food quality.
* Creative and innovative approach to menu development and customer service.
* Strong communication skills for client interaction and addressing feedback.
* Knowledge of food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
* Intermediate computer / Microsoft Office skills.
