Industry Liaison Officer
Centenary Heights State High School is seeking an Industry Liaison Officer to join the team!
Support strong partnerships between school and industry to create real career pathways for students through placements and vocational opportunities.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.79FTE), 57 hours per fortnight.
This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Centenary Heights State High School is located in the Toowoomba District and serves principally the urban community of South-East Toowoomba.
The school was opened in 1968 and is one of several state and private high schools which service Toowoomba and the surrounding districts.

* Source Australian School Based Apprenticeships (ASBA) opportunities for prospective students by actively seeking opportunities for student placements in industry and potential School Based Apprenticeships.
* Promote and market the benefits of the school's technical model to potential employers and other stakeholders and position School Based Apprenticeships as a career pathway preference for students within the region.
* Develop and maintain relationships with employers, training providers and apprenticeship support agencies.
* Form connections and develop partnerships between school and employers that will assist students to transition to employment and make effective career choices.
