JB Contracting is a rapidly growing contractor to the Mining and Civil Earthworks Industry across the goldfields of WA and the Pilbara. 2025 shapes to be a big year with multiple new contracts coming online.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for overseeing and managing the drivers, trucks/trailers, freight and associated tasks on mine sites, primarily for water carts and road maintenance but will also look after road transport and mobilisations also
* Prepare prompt quotations including labour, materials, freight and machinery ensuring that lead times are always considered and clients are communicated with correct timeframes.
* Supervise, prepare and organise onsite activities.
* Allocate labour appropriately and heavily assist with rostering.
* Work closely with team to ensure all works are scheduled and allocated on the company schedule
* Management of all site health and safety requirements including JHA's, permits to work, isolations, risk assessments and key safety requirement to ensure the highest quality work and safety is adhered to at all times.

Carry out regular routine site inspections to identify and rectify risks.
* Identify, report and record and non-conformances, incidences or near misses as required.
The supervisor will be expected to have some mechanical aptitude. Ability to be able to identify mechanical issues and forecast maintenance requirements. Good logistical planning skills, preferable to have some logistical background. Understand what "good" looks like, maintain a high standard of personal and operational excellence. Mix of office work and field work reasonable IT aptitude required.
The successful candidate(s) will be well organised self starters with strong interpersonal communication skills and an aptitude to learn. You will need to demonstrate a "can do" attitude and be a team player, with flexibility to move from task or job, as the business requires.
Key requirements include:
1. Rights to work in Australia.
2. National Police Clearance (mandatory)
3. Minimum HR drivers licence (MC preferred)
4. Computer literate.
9&5 roster is offered - FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie residential. Immediate start available to people that tick all the boxes.
