Volunteer Opportunity – Companion for resident Alex - Brightwater The Village Inglewood
We are seeking a kind, patient volunteer to provide companionship for Alex, one of our residents who would benefit greatly from calm, reassuring interaction.
About Alex
* Alex is a Scottish gentleman who migrated to Perth many years ago. He was in the military and played the drums in the station band.
* Alex was a bus driver in Transperth before retiring.
* Alex enjoys meaningful conversations and listening to all types of music.
Volunteer Role
* Offer calm, reassuring company.
* Chat with Alex in a warm, understanding manner while Alex is having lunch.
Preferred Time
From around 1:30 pm for an hour.
Your presence could make a significant difference to Alex's afternoons, bringing comfort, connection, and companionship.
