Job Description
We are expanding our team in Penrith and would love to welcome a passionate and dedicatedindependent Registered Psychologist Contractorto join us in making a positive impact in our community.
We are looking for Registered Psychologists in Penrith with experience working with NDIS participants.
In this role you will:
* Managing a caseload of NDIS Participants across the lifespan and from varying socio-cultural backgrounds and completing therapeutic processes in a timely manner.
* Undertakingcomprehensive clinical interviews and assessments, and interpreting findings to collaboratively determine and achieve goals that align with NDIS Plan goals.
* Delivering person-centred, tailored interventions with a systemic focus, that also includes delivery of therapeutic support and training to stakeholders.
* Monitoring, interpreting, reporting and addressing signs and symptoms of risk and acute distress that may arise during any therapeutic interventions.
* Providing written reports to NDIS outlining progress reviews and ongoing areas of need.
* Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Current general registration with AHPRA.
* Experience working with NDIS participants.
* Excellent time management, communication and writing skills.
* Relevant insurance including Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
* Police clearance, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Active ABN.
